José Carlos Bezanilla
Jose Carlos Bezanilla is the Chief Executive Officer for Great Place to Work® China. He has previously worked as the Director of the Northwest Region Great Place to Work® Mexico for five years.
Jose has been working in the area of Organisational Development Consulting and Leadership (Management) for over 18 years.
He was a Partner and the Director of Business Development at Capta Organisations Development. During his experience, he has achieved with great performance activities related to leadership, innovation strategies, sales, customer service, sales force management, selection and training. Jose has also worked in the banking industry for ten years, as Subdirector for Marketing at Banamex’s Northwest Division; at the forefront of Segments, Banking Relations, Banamex Services, Marketing, Promotion and Sales and a service quality programme for the bank nationwide.
Jose is certified as a facilitator from Capta Organisations Development and Directo Consultants. He is also certified for the management of organisational staff profiling tool DiSC, from Human Perspectives International and Inscape Publishing, in Miami, USA. He participated in the certification of Cohen Brown, in Outstanding Leadership for Sales and Proactive Banking Relations.
Jose's training experience has covered various areas such as Creativity, Sales, Human Relations, Leadership, Teamwork, Communication, Motivation, Decision Making, Creative Problem Solving and Business Vision, among other topics.
He has been a board member in various chambers and business organisations. He has participated in the project of training for youth leaders with development. He has lived in Europe, Mexico City, in the border region of San Diego, USA and Tijuana, Mexico; working in international environments filled with cultural diversity.
Jose and his wife teach communication workshops for couples and family education. He is happily married with three children and is a member of EAS Commited Communities for the last 20 years. Jose is a passionate reader, music lover, movie fan and an archeology and history enthusiast.
As a Project Manager, Cristina is responsible for Culture Audit® for Great Place to Work® in Greater China where she leads, audits and evaluates the organization’s value systems, programs and practices of companies in the region. She has been part of the team for the last 3 years, since she moved to Hong Kong, supporting companies to transform their workplaces’ culture to become great workplaces.
With more than 15 years of international and multicultural experience, she has participated in a number of projects and has held several Marketing leadership roles in various regions in the world for different industries: entertainment, retail, tourism, real estate and consultancy firms. Cristina has worked and lived in different countries such as Canada, Dubai, Spain and Mexico, which has given her experience in diversity of cultures.
She received a Master of Business Administration from ESIC, Business and Marketing School in Madrid, Spain; and holds a BS in Marketing and Communication Studies from the University Anahuac in Mexico City.
In leisure times, Cristina loves and enjoys travelling, cooking and exploring Hong Kong. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family.
Justine is Marketing Head of Great Place to Work Greater China Region, covering Hong Kong, Taiwan and Greater China’s Lists and marketing programmes.
She has over 25 years of marketing, public relations and business development experiences for both B2B and B2C companies. Justine has worked in Spain, France, Mexico, US, Hong Kong & China. She is currently residing in Hong Kong, realizing her passion in empowering organizations and employees to thrive through trust building, learning and collaboration, during our time when rapid changes presented in the socio-economic environment are in fact, fuel for our growth & development.
As an innovator in public policy research, Justine co-founded and ran Open Data Initiative, housed under Social Sciences Research Centre of The University of Hong Kong from 2017-2021. In the Civil Society space, Justine is Partnership Director and Marketing Lead of CitizenScience.Asia and The Hong Kong Knowledge Management Society, as well as Project Director of Applied Innovation Institute (based in Silicon Valley) and Director - Innovation Networks of Asia Pacific Intellectual Captial Centre. Justine has an MBA from IE Business School and a BBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She enjoys world literature, comedy, singing and Tango in her spare time.

As Business Development Manager, Shane is responsible for expanding the footprint of Great Place to Work® in Greater China while also conducting client facing sessions such as Strategic Meetings, Onboarding Sessions and Results Presentations, in both English and Mandarin. He has been part of the team for one year and lived in Shanghai for 6 years prior to moving to Hong Kong.
With more than 8 years of international and multicultural experience, Shane has worked across Asia in finance and tech in business development and consultancy roles.
He received a Master of Science in Chinese Economy & Business from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and received an academic scholarship to study at the prestigious Fudan Univeristy during his Bachelor’s Degree.
In his spare time, Shane enjoys surfing, hiking, playing football and golf.
As the Office Manager of Great Place To Work, Veronica is based in its’ Shanghai branch. She is responsible for office daily operation, local marketing, PR collaboration, Chinese social media platform operation, as well as administrative and sales support for COO – Greater China.
Before joining Great Place To Work, Veronica has worked in Hospitality and Banking industry respectively. During the work years, she has been through different roles such as Executive Administrator, Sales, PR, Marketing & Events, etc.
Veronica is a passionate traveler, enjoys seeking out unusual places around the globe. Her belief in work-life balance is often full-filled through her love of experiencing distinctive destinations where she can temporarily escape everyday life and look to a more serene state of mind.
As a Business Analyst in Great Place to Work® Greater China, Anna is responsible for producing analytical data, Trust Index© survey implementation, report generation, and production of the Best Workplaces™ lists, along with administrative support for the Hong Kong office.
Anna graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology. Joining Great Place to Work® Greater China in 2018 with a strong interest in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, she is actively seeking chances to apply her knowledge to create and promote better workplaces.
Anna loves spending leisure time reading, music, and traveling. She also enjoys hiking and cycling with friends and family during holidays.
Chief Operating Officer
Alicia is the Chief Operating Officer of Great Place to Work, Greater China. Before joining the family of Great Place to Work, she was a Director, Human Resources, China for Radisson Hotel Group, also a strategic business partner working closely with C-suites. Alicia was a member of global rebranding team, leading post-acquisition re-organization and culture reformation across 3 continents through a complex change management process.
HR Director, China for luxury retail/ fashion brand management company ImagineX, an affiliate of Lane Crawford Joyce Group. Alicia head a matrix HR team spread in 5 offices (>50), guided the manpower strategies for 1300 employees over 11 brands.
In varies of HR /Training leadership positions in Hyatt Hotel Corporation from 1996 to 2013. Alicia participated in 8 flagship projects, including Grand Hyatt, Park, Hyatt, Hyatt Regency and Andaz, and successfully opened 6 new hotels in China.
A Belbin Team Roles Consultant, specialized in Talent Development and Strategy Meetings, Alicia has provided her service to AmCham, IKEA, Sanofi, Vorwerk, etc.
A Project Leader specialized in applying new resources into customer service. For example, helped Zanadu, an on-line travel agency to setup an offline flagship store and applied VR facilities into the service flow for a better guest experience.
Alicia holds a Global Executive MBA of INSEAD* Joint years of market practices and solid academic background. She is also strong in both strategies and execution.
Virgil is the Account Manager based in Shanghai. Virgil is in charge of expanding Great Place to Work in China market and enhance overall client’s experience in the entire customer journey.
Before joining Great Place to Work, Virgil worked in aviation industry for over 7 years with solid industry knowledge. He took over multiple roles during his work in aviation industry, covering Sales, Loyalty Program, Customer Service, etc.
Virgil is a world traveler; he usually spends his vacation to explore the world by experiencing different cultures. He is always curious about new destinations, landmarks, cultures and foods.
Customer Support Specialist
Hitomi is the specialist in providing support services at Great Place to Work Greater China. With a professional background in the science stream, Hitomi’s role is to assist customers with a smooth experience of our service, provide administrative guidance at the commence stage, offer service support during the project progress, and assist award-winning clients with various promotional activities as follow-ups. Hitomi is also skilled in running Chinese social media and ticketing platforms for annual events.
Before joining Great Place to Work Greater China, Hitomi was responsible for system maintenance and data analysis of the research platform in an independent third-party data and system services company.
